We are a training provider who work with 16-19 year olds in Bury, getting the learners through a 15 week Employability skills qualification, alongside their Maths and English functional skills qualifications if required.
Once they have completed their qualification in centre, all our learners have the opportunity to go out on a work placement for up to 19 weeks, for the remainder of their programme, then once they finish work placement, if you have any apprenticeship or job vacancies, they can apply for these, but our learners know it is purely for work experience with nothing guaranteed at the end of the programme.
We have new groups of learners every 15 weeks, so we have new learners looking for work experience often. We supply a bursary payment to the learners if they attend 100% of their work placements to help with transport and lunch funds, so it would cost you nothing and it would help these young people massively, showing them what a working environment looks like.Â
